Payment & Currencies
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. These are processed online using the Pay Pal secure payment service.
Debit and credit cards are pre-authorised immediately using the Pay Pal secure system, after which point various additional security checks are made. As part of our commitment to the security of our customers we may contact you to request further validation of your details.

Shipping And Handling
Orders are usually shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery Services or Airmail. All items are insured during transit to its maximum value. For reasons of security we will only ship to the billing address on the credit card when you order online. If this is not convenient please contact us and we will make alternate arrangement (we will need to verify your identity to do this). Packages sent using Special Delivery Services require a signature on delivery. If no one is available when the package is delivered you may need to collect this from a local postal point.
Remittance Terms
Please note that all goods must be paid for in full before shipping. Goods remain the property of S&S Jewellery until payment is received in full.
Security
All credit card details are processed using the Pay Pal secure transaction system, and undergo further in house scrutiny. Details are not stored on the Internet or on any of our own computers.
All transaction information passed to Pay Pal Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Pay Pal are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Pay Pal servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Pay Pal has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
Returns & Cancellation
Return of Unwanted Goods : Our satisfaction guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with any goods that you purchase from us. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason you may contact us within 10 days of receiving your goods to arrange a full refund (For reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns of unwanted earrings). You do not even need to tell us why if you do not want to. Refunds will be made within 30 days. Unwanted goods must be returned to us, in their original condition within 14 days. Products returned after 14 days won't be refunded. If you would like to return unwanted goods please ensure that you contact us prior to sending them back. We also strongly recommend that returned goods are sent by special delivery with the appropriate insurance cover as they will only be deemed returned when signed for by us. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If, for any reason, you need to cancel your order you may do so by contacting us within 2 days of placing the order. Please quote the reference number given to you on your order confirmation.
Cancellations will be subject to a 5% processing fee, which is due to bank charges on the card payment and subsequent refund.
Return of Damaged or Faulty Goods
Whilst we strive to ensure that all goods reach you in perfect condition, there are unfortunately times when this does not happen. If you should receive damaged or faulty goods from us you may contact us within 2 days of receiving your order to arrange a replacement or full refund.
Order Completion
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the Products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Returns & Cancellation. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
- The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
- The identification of a pricing or product description error
- Your failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms and Conditions
Your Privacy
Your privacy and trust is important to us and we will treat any details you provide us with respectfully. We do not participate in unsolicited mailing (and avoid working with those who do), and will never give your contact information to other organisations unless legally required to do so.
